As much as I make fun of certain aspects of my youth/hometown/midwest in general....the place kicks serious ass in the summer, I must admit. Minnesota: Land of 10,o00 lakes. Wisconsin: land of Miller.
Living on the border of both these states? Well, let's do the math: excessive water + excessive beer * fantasitc weather ^ fam and friends = joy and happiness.
